  Public speaking is one of the most pervasive fears (in some surveys, second only to death). It is estimated that 75% of all people suffer from fear of public speaking. At G.D. Goenka School, Varanasi, we want the students to overcome this fear by letting them practice this art of Public Speaking.

As such, it helps you to stay physically and mentally fit. Even more so, dancing regularly can improve your general well-being, boosts your self-esteem and has also been shown to improve your social skills.

Creativity in the pure and undiluted form is the true definition of Music. Music is an important part of our life as it is a way of expressing our feelings as well as emotions.

  Activity Room

  The Activity Room provides a stimulating environment for children and aids spontaneous learning. We provide opportunities for imaginative role-play, both individually and as part of a group. Children are encouraged to take part in a group and individual tasks, sharing and co-operating with other children. Through activities and conversations, they learn acceptable ways to express their own feelings and learn to listen to others. We use Activity Room for giving a realtime exposure to children for working in the Kitchen, Doctor’s Clinic, Theatre, Role Play Corner and Supermarket.

  The school has a separate 'Art& Craft Room' where creativity of students is nurtured with required equipment to sensitize their aesthetic qualities. This room has provision for woodwork, clay modeling, painting, drawing and craft work.
